Mark C. Rosenberg
Mark Rosenberg, a founding principal brings almost three decades of experience in creating rich opportunities in investment and development, consulting and finance. He founded Triad Realty Services, Ltd., a real estate investment and advisory firm that redeveloped and repositioned properties purchased from the RTC and various S&L’s. He was a founding partner of Site Tech Group, Cap Energy and Rosemark Properties. He also advised foreign governments on property transactions, and corporations on the disposition of underperforming real estate throughout the United States. Previously, he served as a senior real estate development advisor to major corporations and financial institutions while at Lehman Brothers and Security Pacific Bank. Prior to Lehman he was a senior auditor and tax accountant with PriceWaterHouseCoopers.

An accountant and a graduate of Ithaca College, he served as an adjunct professor at the Real Estate Institute of New York University where he lectured on market research and financial feasibility. In addition, Mr. Rosenberg addressed the Urban Land Institute on tax issues in real estate development and lectured to foreign governments at the United Nations on investments in New York City.

Howard M. Schlesinger
Howard Schlesinger, a founding principal, is a registered architect with a career devoted to improving the quality of the built environment. For more than a quarter century, he has developed extensive expertise in planning, design and project management. He was a founding partner with Mr. Rosenberg of CapEnergy, LLC and Site Tech Group Ltd. Prior to that, he founded Schlesinger Loffredo Brooks Architects P.C., an architectural firm specializing in interior architecture and the restoration and redevelopment of underutilized properties.

Mr. Schlesinger has been active in the American Institute of Architects and has lectured for the AIA on entrepreneurship in architecture. He is an alumni board member of the School of Architecture of City College of New York.

Howard A. Weitzman
Howard A. Weitzman, a founding principal, has 35 years of experience in building the relationships and expertise to develop virtually all classes of real estate. He was a principal of National RE/sources Advisors, a firm specializing in the redevelopment of underperforming or environmentally impaired real estate. He held similar positions with Commercial Developments International East and Laramie Dawson Corporation, New York City based development and investment firms. Prior to that, he managed the real estate planning and development unit of Lehman Brothers. He began his career at the Rouse Company of Columbia, Maryland where he served as a Community Development Director for the New Town of Columbia.

He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences including the Urban Land Institute, the New York State Economic Development Council, the U.S. Department of Energy National Forum, the Brownfield Development Institute and Forbes Magazine’s Super Environmental Conference. He has also lectured at the Real Estate Institute at New York University and at Drew University. Mr. Weitzman also participated in the formation of the Third New York Regional Plan, the Governor’s Task Force for Coastal Development, Governor Pataki’s Housing Transition Team and the City of Yonkers Economic Development Task Force. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the New York City Chapter’s Executive Committee. A graduate of Syracuse University, he holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Bruce MacFarlane
Bruce MacFarlane is Chairman of Meridian and has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is President and a Founder of GPO Capital Corporation, a diversified alternative investment management company. Mr. MacFarlane was a founding member of Aquiline Capital Partners and Venturion Capital, both private equity investment firms specializing in the financial services industry. Previously, he served as a mergers and acquisitions specialist and a Senior Advisor with Smith Barney. Prior to Smith Barney, he was the Director of Financial Institutions and a Senior Advisor to the President for the Cabinet-level RTC Oversight Board, which set the strategy, policy, and regulatory framework for the $100+ billion savings & loan clean-up. Mr. MacFarlane was also a Senior Manager at both Andersen Consulting and Oliver, Wyman & Company - both financial services management consulting firms.

Mr. MacFarlane currently serves as Chairman of Financial Management Systems and on the Advisory Board at Aquiline Capital Partners. He earned his BA with Honors in Chemistry from Harvard College and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
